The Liquid Diet Plan

Posted by Saito on July 16, 2009

Hey guys, let’s take a look at a new/old concept…trading solid foods for drinks.

Q & A

WHAT?? Why would I want to trade my solid foods for liquid drinks?

Well obviously to help you lose weight. Water, for instance, when you drink the 8 cups of water you HAVE to drink every day…it cleanses your body of impurities and takes away unneeded fat substances. Imagine…having a constant flow of liquid through your body…(besides needing to constantly use the bathroom lol) can you imagine that coupled with daily exercise, how much weight you could lose??

Okay that makes sense, but I can drink something other then water right? If I don’t I’ll…starve O.o.

Of course you can drink something other then water, milk shakes/fruit shakes for instance. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you make your own milk shake/fruit shake. Just don’t add a lot of sugar to your shakes k? =)

How long should I stay on this liquid diet??

For as long as you wish, this won’t harm your body.

– – – – – – – – – – –

The rest now is up to you, you have to make the right choices. And I repeat, don’t add a lot of sugar to your shakes.

How To Take Advantage Of Summer Weather And Lose Weight

Posted by Saito on May 18, 2009

summer_fun

I find that I have to take certain steps and plan ahead for summer time workouts, mostly because of the hot weather. I’ll explain why:

1. Hot temperatures keep me from doing my workouts in the middle of day when it’s the hottest, I have to do everything mainly in the morning.

2. I seem to have the most energy in the morning anyway so all of this works out, I think everyone on average workouts out in the morning.

– – – – – – – – – – – – –

Here is what I suggest you do in order:

1. Early in the morning you should start out with your aerobic routines. Doing this first will actually help you have more energy during the rest of the day, anytime after morning hours you won’t have the same amount of energy as you started.

2. After aerobics you should go into your weight lifting routines. Try to do it in the morning as well.

3. When after you’ve completed your work out routines (if you don’t already have a routine check out the Workout Routines section) lunch should be nutritional and balanced. Milk, veggies, fruits, grains you know a completely balanced meal.

4. After lunch try and spend some time outside, the sun is very good for your skin and body growth.

5. When you feel wiped just rest, even if it’s outside. Rest is always important.

– – – – – – – – – – – –

If you keep a schedule like that in summer time you should see results within at least a month, keep a good schedule going and enjoy summer vacation!

Stay tuned for the next update!

Spring Time Schedule

Posted by Saito on April 22, 2009

When the sun is shining and the weather is fair you should definitely come up with a schedule that can help you enjoy the weather and lose weight.

springtime-on-the-downs

Though allergies can bring you down and if you think that will stop you from having fun then check out my Combating Viruses/Allergies section, that should help you out =D.

Anyway, the best thing to do is make Spring Time Schedule. Give yourself at least two hours a day outside. Just being outside running around doing fun activities would help you lose weight. On top of that just by staying out in the sun will help you clear up acne, plus taking in all that fresh oxygen will help clear your system of impurities.

I have a schedule that may help you start your own, here it is:

Monday-Friday <- – – School Days

Normally everyone get’s out of school at about 3:00 PM on average. Plus there’s homework and chores, that normally doesn’t give us to much time to work with. So I suggest when evening time comes you go out and take a walk, your still getting fresh oxygen in your system and losing weight by just walking outside. My family and I do this often, I recommend you at least take a walk for half an hour.

Saturday & Sunday + Day’s Off Of School

The only thing on these days I think would keep you busy is chores, if you have any on those days. I would take full advantage of your day by going outside (if it’s sunny of course and not rainy). You have plenty of options, you could spend time with your family or work on your own fun. Let me list a few:

1. The Park

That doesn’t necessarily mean the play ground, but a park. Plenty of trees and open space, that’s one of the best things you can do with your time.

2. Nature Hikes

If you can do this I recommend doing so, I take natures walks whenever I can and I love it.

3. Biking

No need for explanation, you just need a bike.

– – – – – – – – – – –

Everyone has a different situation and are not able to do some of what I mention, plus some can’t go outside at all because of allergies. All you can do is to do your best, make the most of your time with what you have and that’s the best you can do =D.

Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

Weight Lifting: Protein Powder

Posted by Saito on March 27, 2009

I have been taking this protein powder for about four months now and I am seeing some surprising results, it really works!!

Q & A

Really? It works? How does it work?

The protein powder I have been taking for the past four months is called “Night Trainer”. It’s a special chocolate flavored drink your only supposed to take before bed time. Its supposed to help you regain energy after a work out, you don’t tire as easy when you lift weights.

Alright I’ll take your word on that, how do I take it?

It comes with a special scooper already, you take a single heaping amount of Night Trainer into your cup. Add some milk stir it in and drink it. Its a really sticky mixture and can freeze like cement on your spoon, so just be aware =D.

– – – – – – – –

It has great flavor, I have not been disappointed with it the benefits have been great!! You may start to see better results after about two weeks (and a bit more definition with your muscles)

You can get it here: Night Trainer

Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

Weight Losing Tips: Step 11

Posted by Saito on March 23, 2009

This post will be focused on the determination and focus you will need to make out a weight losing schedule:

^ See how determined she is to climb up the face of that cliff, well that’s the same determination you need to get up every morning and work out.

I admit it, its not fun at first. You feel worn out and dragged out when you first start a work out schedule to burn off those pounds.

But once you get at it, and find your niche for these work out routines you will began to get used to it. So will your body and that will help you get those pounds off.

You can’t quit on what you start, you have to force yourself to workout. But you will enjoy the results if you keep at it, you can even see results within two week…but it depends on your schedule.

Q & A

Wow this sounds rough. What should I do to work off these pounds?

Everybody is in their own situation in life, it’s hard to recommend what exactly to do or what to use when everyone has their own unique lifestyle and home life. But I have to recommend the basic’s, and here they are:

Treadmill

The treadmill is one of the most recommended workout machines out their, it’s a standard issue workout machine.

Stair Steps

You can either use the machine, or you can actually go up and down your stair for ten minutes (when you start out) I am actually going up and down my stairs for twenty-five minutes and I am seeing incredible results so I highly recommend doing this :D.

Bicycling (machine)

You can either use the machine or you can really go bicycling. Its fun my dad loves to bicycle ride and I do as well, I highly recommend this work out routine =D.

Basic Aerobics

This is one of the best ways to lose weight, just basic workout routines. You can learn all about the right routines like jumping jacks, squats etc. here: Turnstep.com

– – – – – – – – – – – – –

I have personally done all of these workout routines, I recommend them all but you don’t need to do them all, just choose the one you think will work best =D.

Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

Balanced Diet: How To Start A Balanced Diet…

Posted by Saito on March 3, 2009

Food Pyramid

I’m sure most of you have heard about the Food Pyramid, it shows you the best way to start a balanced diet and keep a balanced for the rest of your life.

Q & A

Okay then, what do I do first?

By starting a balanced diet you are taking a big step in life, you have to break some bad habits. Like eating unhealthy snacks when your hungry, or having multiple deserts (I’m sure you can think up some unusual eating habits on your own). Give your self time to make the transition, have your parents start buying you healthy natural foods. That is what you do to start…

Do you have a schedule I can use? What should I eat at what times?

Okay I’ll start:

Breakfast:

Start your breakfast with energizing food, full of protein and Vitamin C. I suggest eggs (protein) you can make them anyway you like, for bread I suggest Toast and last but not least for a drink try milk (calcium)/orange juice(Vitamin C) (you probably have more then one glass of orange juice/milk, try them both; have one glass of milk and one glass of orange juice)

Time between Breakfast and Lunch:

Sometimes most people have a snack before lunchtime, try munching on some cheerios (your daily grains) or have vegetable/fruit something healthy.

Lunchtime:

For lunch were all normally at school, so I suggest when you pack your lunch you should take food items that will last through the entire school day. I normally have a tuna sandwich, with a banana (protein again). For a drink I have water, cool and refreshing…try something balanced and nutritional like that (I’m sure you can think of something).

Time between lunch and dinner:

If you’ve just come home from school and want another snack, try crackers with peanut butter (or cheese, you know something edible like that =D). For a drink to go with it try having some more milk.

Dinner:

Normally as teens were not in charge of dinner (mom or dad takes care of that), why not ask them to make a balanced meal? I would suggest you ask them to make a pasta dish, or a rice dish; something with plenty of grains. You could also suggest a meat/poultry dish (chicken, beef or ham). On the side you would want a vegetable group, try broccoli or cauliflower. For desert try dark chocolate (just plain dark chocolate, its good a very good for you), or try a fruit dish.

– – – – – – – – – – – – –

That’s the schedule I recommend, of course its normally you can’t keep a perfect schedule this is just an example. Try making up your own balanced meal schedule, stick to the Food Pyramid rules and you’ll be fine :D.

Resveratrol: Wait What’s Resveratrol?

Posted by Saito on February 23, 2009

Grapes full of Resveratrol

Resveratrol is a special nutrient that is normally found in red grapes. Grapes use Resveratrol to heal a bruise or a burn from the sun anything that damages the grape, it uses it so it may return back to normal form and shape.

Q & A

Ok great well it helps the grapes…but what has this to do with me and my health?

Well not only is Resveratrol found in grapes but it’s also found in animals. When an animal is starving, near death, Resveratrol is released throughout the animals body; Resveratrol keeps the animal from catching deadly diseases till it finds the proper food source. It keeps the animal alive! This also pertains to us, if we take Resveratrol as a supplement it will protect us from diseases-protecting us from every disease as a matter of fact!

Ok that’s cool, but is that all it can do for me?

No, that was just the beginning; there is so much more it can do. Resveratrol tricks your body into making every possible move to preserve your body as you get older, it boosts your defenses (protecting you from disease) and keeps you in top physical condition. In order for Resveratrol to work at it’s best you need a good diet; eating balanced meals and such. As I said before, it preserves your body as you get older and it helps you live healthier, longer. It also helps your brain-it keeps your mind clear and focused.

Wow, where can I get this and how do I take Resveratrol?

I suggest you take it in veggie capsule form:

Click the following link and you can get Resveratrol in veggie capsule form. It’s recommended that you take two a day, one in the morning and one at night: Eresveratrol.com

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I’ve been taking Resveratrol for several months now and I’m enjoying it’s benefits, you know my mind is clear and focused :D. I enjoy it, my mind does not feel cluttered as it use to…how cool is that :D!! Now my mom is taking Resveratrol, and she is also enjoying its bountiful benefits!! She says it has helped her with her memory and her mind is clearer then it has been in a long while 😀

Well that’s all for now, stay tuned for the next update 😀

These are basic workout routines when starting out with weights. Depending on your size and girth with weights only choose the amount of weight you can handle. Start out with lighter weights then move up as your muscles get used to the strain. With every workout you do, even ones without weights do at least three sets. Each set you do try doing at least fifteen reps. If you can, use a back brace when you workout so you’re back is supported.

Well that’s all for the first part, stay tuned for the next update 😀

Weight Losing Tips: Step 10

Posted by Saito on February 2, 2009

I have another step for those who wish to lose weight and stay healthy, get plenty of sleep at night.

Asleep

It’s extremely important and necessary for you to get at least eight hours of sleep every night. Your body requires it, NEEDS it. It’s the only time your body can release certain hormones that heal and support your body after a day’s work. Sleep also can help you with your weight problems, it has most definitely for me 😀

Back a few years ago I used to stay up till eleven o’clock at night. Almost every night was like that. I couldn’t help that though, my life was very hectic at that point (school was very stressful as I’m sure you all can relate to). Fortunately I have been able to get out of old habits, and I’m happy with the results.

Having a full eight hours of sleep every night has given me far more energy than I thought I could gain. I’ve made out a schedule for myself, maybe you would be interested in viewing it 🙂

MY DAILY SCHEDULE:

1. I get up at seven in the morning.

2. Get chores over with, minor of course, school comes up next and I have to be there on time…

3. Get through school (trying to stay alive in the process).

4. Come home on the bus.

5. Get homework accomplished and after school chores.

6. It’s normally around six when I’m done with everything. My mom is regularly at home so she has dinner prepared. She tries to keep us consuming a full balanced meal at dinner, typically a pasta or a chicken meal (my family and I are very fond of these kinds of dishes). Along with the chicken or pasta dishes we would have salad and french bread (very essential to a healthy meal)

7. Afterwords we dim the lights in our home (your body has a hormone called cortisol, it helps you get to sleep. It is very sensitive to light and will keep you awake if there are too many lights on around you. So we tend to keep our house lights dim in the evening so we can sleep with ease).

8. Watch a calming movie.

9. Get ready for bed, go to sleep.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

It appears to be a bit boring I know, but I’d rather be healthy than unhealthy any day; so I keep to my schedule and it works very well for me. Try to keep a reasonable schedule for your daily routine, put all your efforts toward going to bed on time. You should eventually be rid of your extra weight by sticking to your schedule and gaining the healthy benefits that go along with it.
