Stay Away From STRESS: Part 4, Parent/Adult Pressure

Posted by Saito on June 1, 2009

SuperStock_1487R-60632

Ever been hashed by an adult? I’m sure everyone has, sometimes it’s for your benefit sometimes it just makes things worst.

But why exactly does it happen? Well most of the time their just worried about you, wanting to be the best help they can be even when they don’t realize it’s just stressing you out.

Sometimes adults even give out advice (duh), but sometimes you get advice that’s either good or bad. It’s your job to decipher the good and bad advice, try your best to find good advice. Don’t try looking for trouble, sometimes something that sounds like it’s good advice turns out to be even worse then the bad advice.

Most adults are just cranky, why?:

1. Their bodies ache.

2. The economy is falling.

3. They read the news too often.

4. Work is a nightmare.

5. Not enough family time.

6. Have had no vacation time just to chill.

This is my perception of most older adults and why they scold you even on the tiniest thing.

The best thing for you to do is to try and help them get over their own stresses, that way yours will float away like it never existed. Just be yourself, try to stay calm and handle the situation maturely!

Well guys that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

Spring Time Schedule

Posted by Saito on April 22, 2009

When the sun is shining and the weather is fair you should definitely come up with a schedule that can help you enjoy the weather and lose weight.

springtime-on-the-downs

Though allergies can bring you down and if you think that will stop you from having fun then check out my Combating Viruses/Allergies section, that should help you out =D.

Anyway, the best thing to do is make Spring Time Schedule. Give yourself at least two hours a day outside. Just being outside running around doing fun activities would help you lose weight. On top of that just by staying out in the sun will help you clear up acne, plus taking in all that fresh oxygen will help clear your system of impurities.

I have a schedule that may help you start your own, here it is:

Monday-Friday <- – – School Days

Normally everyone get’s out of school at about 3:00 PM on average. Plus there’s homework and chores, that normally doesn’t give us to much time to work with. So I suggest when evening time comes you go out and take a walk, your still getting fresh oxygen in your system and losing weight by just walking outside. My family and I do this often, I recommend you at least take a walk for half an hour.

Saturday & Sunday + Day’s Off Of School

The only thing on these days I think would keep you busy is chores, if you have any on those days. I would take full advantage of your day by going outside (if it’s sunny of course and not rainy). You have plenty of options, you could spend time with your family or work on your own fun. Let me list a few:

1. The Park

That doesn’t necessarily mean the play ground, but a park. Plenty of trees and open space, that’s one of the best things you can do with your time.

2. Nature Hikes

If you can do this I recommend doing so, I take natures walks whenever I can and I love it.

3. Biking

No need for explanation, you just need a bike.

Everyone has a different situation and are not able to do some of what I mention, plus some can’t go outside at all because of allergies. All you can do is to do your best, make the most of your time with what you have and that’s the best you can do =D.

Well that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

How To Deal With Spring Time Allergies: Part 2

Posted by Saito on April 14, 2009

sneeze-speed

Spring Time allergies suck and it always ends up sending us through the roof. I have always wondered how I can stay away from allergies, how to stop them from causing me breathing difficulties, rashes and so on. The list is very long I could keep going…

Through the years well I’ve found some useful techniques that may definitely help with combating allergies and I hope they will also be able to help you too.

Q & A

You really have something for me? Okay well then what do you suggest?

I have a list of things you can do actually, take a moment and check it out:

1. Drink Plenty Of Water.

In spring time I drink as much water as I possibly can (without over doing it of course) it’s good for me of course and it seems to really help combat allergies (flushing pollen and whatever is in the air out of my system)

2. Stay In Doors.

The next best thing to do is to stay inside when the air is full of pollen outside, try your best to avoid to much contact with nature right now since it’s pollinating.

3. Vicks Vapo Rub.

vicks-730724

I HIGHLY recommend using this product, when it comes to a stuffy nose and hard breathing this will help clear that up for you. Eucalyptus Oil is the main ingredient and it helps clear your sinuses, for my use I say about 95% percent of the time I use it I have instant relief. Repeat I HIGHLY recommend using this product!!

You can get it here: Target.com

And it doesn’t really matter which brand your getting so long as you are getting it, use your best judgment and I’m sure you’ll be fine =D.

4. Conserve Your Energy.

Remember your body needs energy in order to fight incoming pollen, viruses etc. so conserve your energy. Don’t do too much work, try to stay active but don’t over work your self. If your tired take a break your body, is fighting all the nasty particles floating in the air…

I comfort myself by saying “Don’t worry Summer is coming…” in the extreme heat of summer the pollen dies out and everything seems pretty good afterward. Don’t worry about anything, just have patience Spring WILL end it just takes time =D.

Well guys that’s it for now, stay tuned for the next update =D.

How To Deal With Spring Time Allergies

Posted by Saito on March 19, 2009

Normally in spring time allergies are common for most people (I happen to be one of them). Sneezing, irritated eyes, itchy throat etc. these are all apart of spring times allergy reactions and I have only mentioned a few…and I’m dedicating this post to helping you fight spring time allergies.

Q & A

Okay, what should I do first?

When you have a serious allergy problem you should drink plenty of water as a start (to flush out any pollen or substance in your body that is causing you a problem). Next I would suggest that you stay indoors more then spending too much time outside (you will only keep agitating your allergies further by exposing them).

Okay I can deal with that, would you suggest that I take anything? Some form of medicine?

Yes definitely, I would suggest you should take Benadryl:

Benadryl is a great product that really does work. I would suggest you take the liquid children’s Benadryl (my family and I always take liquid childrens benadryl), its easy to take and you only need about a teaspoon worth of it. The only problem with it is that benadryl makes you drowsy, but you’d have to cope with it since it is helping you deal with your allergies.

That’s really all I can say for dealing with spring time allergies. Allergies suck and I know its a pain to deal with them, but I like to look at the bright side; I keep telling myself hang in there summer’s coming!! XD

Well guys post a comment and let me know if you have any suggestions on how to deal with allergies 😀
Stay tuned for the next update =D.
