The Liquid Diet Plan

Posted by Saito on July 16, 2009

Hey guys, let’s take a look at a new/old concept…trading solid foods for drinks.

Q & A

WHAT?? Why would I want to trade my solid foods for liquid drinks?

Well obviously to help you lose weight. Water, for instance, when you drink the 8 cups of water you HAVE to drink every day…it cleanses your body of impurities and takes away unneeded fat substances. Imagine…having a constant flow of liquid through your body…(besides needing to constantly use the bathroom lol) can you imagine that coupled with daily exercise, how much weight you could lose??

Okay that makes sense, but I can drink something other then water right? If I don’t I’ll…starve O.o.

Of course you can drink something other then water, milk shakes/fruit shakes for instance. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you make your own milk shake/fruit shake. Just don’t add a lot of sugar to your shakes k? =)

How long should I stay on this liquid diet??

For as long as you wish, this won’t harm your body.

– – – – – – – – – – –

The rest now is up to you, you have to make the right choices. And I repeat, don’t add a lot of sugar to your shakes.

I’m Tired Of Being Overweight!

Posted by Saito on January 13, 2009

Scale teen

THAT’S IT!! I’VE HAD ENOUGH, I am through with being overweight and lethargic! I am dedicating myself and this blog to helping myself and others with overweight issues, and I think I’ve found a lead toward my (and everyone’s) goals to lose all the extra weight.

My dad brought me some supplements from his work. I found one of the products extremely useful, it’s called CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) and this supplement takes away your body fat, believe it or not this product comes from beef! But in recent modern times Farmers have been feeding cows food products that take out the special effects of CLA were taken out of beef…but Wellness Partners found a way to extract the CLA 😀

In order for CLA to work it’s natural process you have to give it at least to months, keep a healthy diet and stay active like: taking a walk outside for a bit, work out by swimming, jogging, aerobics, weight lifting, pilates etc. Believe me it’s worth it! I have been on CLA for months and have noticed a HUGE difference in my body. I feel healthy, I have energy, I can walk without flab bouncing around my gut, I can go out to the swimming pool without feeling embarrassed and I can RUN! I know running is not a big deal but to someone like me who has waited a long to just run for the fun of it is a breath taking experience for me it really is :).

My dad worked out a special deal for my readers ONLY…use this code: LJ777CLA and get a two for one special offer for first time buyers this is an exclusive offer only for my readers, link: CLICK HERE! ( you have to click add to cart or you can put the coupon code in on the next page after when you click add to cart)

I will post more healthy tips and health products that help you lose weight and stay healthy 😀

Weight Losing Tips: Fifth Step

Posted by Saito on January 12, 2009

Check out the next update called Sixth Step

Drink plenty of water.

WATER, LOT’S of water :D. Water is one of the bases of life, water keeps you moving, keeps you healthy and strong, cleanses your body of impurities, helps fight the common cold and sooo much more :D.

But what else can it do for those who are over weight or unhealthy? Well I drink (at least) eight ounces daily, sometimes I personally drink more since I am a bigger person and need much more water :D. When I started drinking eight cups daily I heard it from my mom who heard it from my uncle (ROFL long story) and my mom said he was losing weight. He originally had a small gut but when he drank the right amount of water he cleansed his body from extra fat. Intrigued by what my mom said I decided to drink the the recommended amount of water. I had at least 3 inches of flab around my was pretty sad and wanted SOMETHING to help me with my weight problem, when I started drinking 8 ounces of water a day I noticed results within a month! I (finally) could walk around my neighborhood without getting tired, I could fit in a pair of jeans or shorts without feeling embarrassed that my sides would stick out to far. It was and still is a wonderful experience…

Then when I wanted to learn more about what it could do for me I looked up the human body benefits from water on Google…and the following I am quoting is from <a href=”http://www.dorchesterhealth.org/water.htm”>Hdor Chester Health.org</a>:

* Water helps regulate our body temperature through perspiration, which dissipates excess heat &amp; cools our bodies.

* We even need water to breathe! As we take in oxygen &amp; excrete CO2, our lungs must be moistened by water. We lose about 1 to 2 pints of water each day just exhaling.

* Asthma is frequently relieved when water intake is increased. Histamine plays a key role in regulating the way the body uses &amp; distributes water &amp; helps control the body’ s defense mechanisms. In asthmatics, histamine level increases with dehydration. Our defense for the body is to close down the airways.

* The kidneys remove wastes such as uric aced, urea &amp; lactic acid, all of which must be dissolved in water. When there isn’t sufficient water, those wastes are not effectively removed, which may result in damage to the kidneys.

* Water lubricates our joints. The cartilage tissues found at the ends of long bones &amp; between the vertebrae of the spine hold a lot of water, which serves as a lubricant during the movement of the joint. When the cartilage is will hydrated, the two opposing surfaces glide freely, &amp; friction damage is minimal. If the cartilage is dehydrated, the rate of “abrasive” damage is increased, resulting in joint deterioration &amp; increased pain.

* The actively growing blood cells in the bone marrow take priority over the cartilage for the available water that goes through the bone structure.

* Rheumatoid joint pain frequently decreases with increased water intake &amp; flexing exercises to bring more circulation to the joints.

* 75% of the upper body weight is supported by the water volume that is stored in the spinal disc core. 25% is supported by the fibrous materials around the disc. The spinal joints are dependent on different hydraulic properties of water which is stored in the disc core. Back pain is frequently alleviated with hydration.

* Brain tissue is 85% water. Although the brain is only 1/50th of the body weight, it uses 1/20th of the blood supply. With dehydration, the level of energy generation in the brain is decreased. Depression &amp; chronic fatigue syndrome are frequently results of dehydration.

* Migraine headaches may be an indicator of critical body temperature regulation at times of “heat stress.” Dehydration plays a major role in bringing on migraines. Dehydration causes stress &amp; stress causes further dehydration.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Wow 😀 that’s why it is so good to drink plenty of water, think of the benefit’s, if you do this you will change your life in a GOOD way :D, take it from me drink plenty of water, take a water bottle/container where ever you go so you gain wonderful benefits 😀

Stay posted for the next step tomorrow…=D

HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP IS NOT YOUR FRIEND: Part 1

Posted by Saito on January 12, 2009

STAY AWAY FROM PRODUCTS WITH HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!

I know I have talked about this before, but it’s a very BIG topic and it needs some more explaining. It’s a dangerous product that should not be used as often as it is.

High Fructose Corn Syrup is taken from normal corn. In order to get High Fructose Corn Syrup they have to extract White Corn Starch from corn and turn it into a crystal clear liquid so it may be placed in our food products. It’s a very complicated process that uses three genetically created enzymes to break down the White Corn Starch and form it into a liquid.

High Fructose Corn Syrup is consumed more then regular SUGAR! One minus for the FDA as it was approved by THEM to put it in our food products. Today High Fructose Corn Syrup is used to sweeten jams and other items like Heinz ketchup and soft drinks. It is also used in HEALTH products of all things. One of the reasons HFCS is used so often is to keep our food from rotting and lasting on our shelves, the fact that it keeps our food from rotting is great, but it’s not healthy for us; it only keeps us from using our bodies to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Four of America’s companies control 85 percent of the $2.6 billion business of High Fructose Corn Syrup: Archer Daniels Midland, Cargill, Staley Manufacturing Co. and CPC International, so we know who to blame for the scandal lol.

This is a big problem concerning EVERYONE as it not only helps with the process of obesity, but it also causes BAD health problems that effect you when you are young and old: TO BE CONTINUED

Stay tune tomorrow for the next update 😀

HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP IS NOT FRIEND: Part 3

Posted by Saito on December 30, 2008

Let’s bring another light to the subject of HFCS. Deep info on how it EFFECTS you…

In Suzanne Summers latest book “Breakthrough” she mentions that HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) is a brain stimulant O.o, which isn’t a good thing you see…you gain instant energy from it and it wears your brain/body down while giving you this energy, which only breaks your body :/.

Now you know it brings in extra weight to your body BUT do you know how quickly it effects?

Now I personally have experienced the rapid changes of HFCS for my entire life! But I didn’t really hit it bad till I had an accident, I ruptured my spleen (extremely gross) and that put me out of exercise for six months…though I healed and my spleen did as well I was in bad shape after all that time. JUST IN SIX MONTHS I WAS OVER WEIGHT!! I was eating normal everyday food you would find from a grocery store and in six months I was overweight…this just didn’t settle with me at ALL! I had to get rid of all the extra weight…so I started to learn more about staying healthy at that time of my life, studying techniques, health products, personal experiences from others you know ANYTHING that could truly help me…and so after three years (this whole problem started when I was ten lol and I am now fifteen O.o) of watching and learning about the food market I learned about HFCS. I was of course STUNNED by what I learned…it was in (as I stated before in my other posts) mostly everything we owned for food lol. It brings in the pounds, it wore me down so I couldn’t have the energy to get better and I was always tired…one day my family and I decided that we should shop differently from then on. We found our favorite super market called Trader Joe’s, I know I’ve spoken about it before but not as much as I am now. It has to be one of the best organic food markets out there, it has the best quality food my family and I have EVER tasted it’s so awesome :D. Once we went over there to get our food products we found that all of their food contained NO HFCS!! It was great! We were total Trader Joe’s shoppers from then on, I lost the weight I used to have just by eating their food and finally gaining the energy to lift weights, exercise and finally just RUN for the fun of it…

So yeah all of this was because of High Fructose Corn Syrup…none of it was fun for me. Look believe me it’s so worth getting off of HFCS it really is…you WILL see benefits from staying away from HFCS. Though it may take a while to get off of it just try to stay away from it and you will see results.

Heh well that’s what HFCS did to me…stay tuned for the next update :D.

Weight Losing tips: Second Step

Posted by Saito on December 8, 2008

Check out the next update called Third Step

Stay away from cheese, let me explain why.

Cheese is concentrated milk, so whatever amount of fat you had in your milk was doubled in your cheese…it’s eating chunks of starchy food oil :(. Since cheese is so fatty I tend to stay away from it, but having it in small amounts is fine, just don’t have it in everything you choose to eat.

I go to Taco Bell often with my family to get a tasty cheap lunch, but everything there mostly has cheese in everything. So how do you avoid it, still get great flavor and stay healthy in one meal? Here is what I do…I normally order 3 soft taco’s with lettuce and ground beef, I also ask the taco’s to be without cheese. To get the great flavor in a soft taco I just add their Taco Bell sauce inside all three soft taco’s and I get a great lasting flavor throughout all three taco’s. If I want chips and dip on the side I don’t take the cheese dip and I have my chips with Taco Bell sauce, lol still tasty with a spicy tang :D. This is just one location I go with my family for food, I also go to a few other places…

Round Table. Yeah, sometimes my family and I can’t resist the awesome flavor of cheesy pizza. Having pizza every now and then is ok and since I live in America I get it modern style lol. When I walk up to the counter with my parents they order an extra large pizza with extra sauce and we find our spot to sit waiting for the pizza. Normally they hand us cups for soda or water and I now always get the water, Round Table usually has a salad bar, so with it they had a few lemons by the soda fountain, I squeezed some lemons in my water and the flavor was great, perfect replacement for soda :D. I go back to sit down and the pizza is done and brought over for us to enjoy, I grab my slice of pizza, but before I eat I get up and go to the salad bar and grab a large amount of salad so I won’t eat to much pizza. After that I go back and have two slices of pizza (if you can try to keep your amount of pizza to two slices) and then my salad, it’s great and I get whatever healthy thing I want on it that appeals to me. Then afterwards we get up and leave, I feel pretty good about my self when we go and energized because I had a great balanced diet without to much cheese, I don’t have to feel guilty at all, just healthy 😀

Now you know what I do to avoid too much cheese, in some places like Taco Bell I avoid it completely, but in places like Round Table I balance the cheese I have on my pizza with lemon water and a healthy salad, it’s not that hard to avoid cheese. Just take simple steps to avoid it, if your having a sandwich and normally have cheese replace it with a layer of lettuce/tomatoes instead or if you still want cheese on your sandwich only add a small amount and have a healthy snack on the side, it’s that easy and simple to do :D.

Stay posted for the next step 😀
