Amazing: Food portions have literally exploded in size…

Yahoo.com gave out an interesting article, the size of today’s food portions compared to the food portions from twenty years ago…is quite disturbing:

Cheeseburger of yesterday: Average cheeseburger had about 333 calories.

Cheeseburger of today: Average cheeseburger has about 590 calories!!!!

Conclusion: No wonder America has major obesity issues….

Evolution of the bagel:

Bagel of yesterday: Average bagel contained about 140 calories and had a diameter of three inches.

Bagel of today: Average bagel now contains about 350 calories and a diameter of six inches!!

Conclusion: STAY AWAY FROM BAGELS!!

Evolution of French Fries:

French Fries of yesterday:
The average French Fries of yesterday weighed about 2.4 ounces per serving and contained about 210 calories.

French Fries of today: The average French Fries of today weigh about 6.9 ounces with calories worth up to 610 calories!!

Conclusion: It’s obvious the restaurants aren’t looking out for your health, keep that in mind when you have your next meal…

The evolution of the turkey sandwich:

Turkey sandwich of yesterday: An average turkey sandwich back twenty years ago contained 320 calories as an AVERAGE.

Turkey sandwich of today: An average turkey sandwich of today is about ten inches long and contains about 820 calories!!!

I’m amazed that we are all used to this amount of food, no wonder so many are having obesity problems. They have been eating to much for their bodies actual needs! Well guys I guess we should start to try and eat smaller portions…that’s gonna be hard. 😦

Try to avoid food items like these, it will benefit your health. (I should know lol)

I have actually in the past eaten these food items, I can see now why we should avoid them, I REPEAT AVOID THESE FOOD ITEMS!! Just try to stick to healthy and nutritional food products, AVOID TEMPTATION!!
